I'm 53, living in Bristol (though I spend quite a bit of time in sunny Florida), married to an avid radio controlled plane modeller (every man should have a hobby too), my first craft love is card making though I'm pretty keen on making mini works of art (ATC's)and I profess to "dabble" at scrapbooking. Other hobbies: Music, reading, travel, keeping in touch with friends (new and old) - I'm also crazy for anything purple (earning me the nickname of Ms Purple or the purple princess!) and love all sorts of art deco and twinkly "stuff". Why not pop along to my blog here: http://purpliciousprincessdiaries.blogspot.com
I joined craft bubble back in the "early days" - November 2008 and have never looked back, having made lots of lovely new crafting friends. I'm a big fan of Sketch oriented Challenges.
In October of 2010 I will be meeting two fellow bubblers (from the U.K.) in Florida - we're calling it Craftapalooza - Florida - LOOK OUT!!!! It's a long way to go to meet bubblers from Darlington and Saltash but hey ..... works for me! I shall enjoy showing them round my fave haunts - perhaps I should phone ahead so they know to expect crazy mad crafters!
Hi there and welcome to craft bubble, thanks for the invite to join your circle of friends. I'm a rubber stamping card maker myself but do admire the patience you stitchers all seem to have. Enjoy CB.
hi your welcome, iv just started rubber stamping being left handed im finding it a bit strange but im getting there, and my family are enjoying all my hand made cards and cross stitch cards,
I had a peek at your gallery, I love how you've used your glitter in your projects. I can't help but find an excuse to add a sparkle to my craft projects, even better that ours can be used as a cosmetic too - as if I needed an excuse!?! A stamper too, a lady after my own heart!
We're busy preparing for more "Skill Challenges" we're sorting workshops out to teach rugby players and scuba divers (among others) how to craft - we're looking at using glitter in their projects too. We'll be putting photos on our website www.kirstenlappingdesigns.com in the coming months, the "Skill Challenge" page currently has a basic outline at the moment. It'd be great if you get a chance to browse the site.
Happy crafting,
Kirsten x

Oh yes, I LOVE glitter too. I bought some beautiful glitters whilst in Florida in November and if you check out my card gallery you will see how lush they are - time flutters by, features a lot of glitter and some equally lush art deco stamps.
Hi Kathy.......I'm ALWAYS busy crating..lol....I consider myself VERY lucky to do what I do..and funnily enough, I never tire of it!
At the moment I'm packaging stamps, this afternoon I will get a start on some lovely up and coming projects for Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine..(by that time it will probably be snowing..lol)
